AgileTek is looking for a Software Manager or experienced Business Analyst who has the potential to lead Software teams

Responsibilities:

  • Project management 
  • Client liaison  
  • Business analysis
  • Requirements gathering and management  
  • Defect analysis and troubleshooting 
  • Software testing

Candidates must possess the following:

  • High degree of desire to have a career in software development
  • Flexibility to learn and execute in a wide variety of skill areas
  • Ability to get along well with others and work as a team
  • Excitement about working in a fast-paced environment
  • Doing what it takes to get the job done
  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar technology field would be a plus.

Software Engineer

AgileTek is looking to expand our technical staff.
We have an immediate opening and will be adding others over the next weeks and months.  

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Iteration Planning sessions, contributing ideas and asking appropriate questions to ensure that all aspects of functionality being planned for the iteration are adequately covered.
  • Participate in high-level architecture and design discussions and create low-level designs
  • Formulate unit tests in conformity to company standards for contract programming
  • Write code to implement functionality
  • Build applications and run entire suites of unit tests
  • Diagnose and repair reported defects
  • Participate in project management via daily standup meetings
  • Assist other developers as requested
  • Mentor new developers
  • Participate in and occasionally lead weekly technical forum sessions
  • Participate in the programmer community through online forums, local user group meetings, etc.
  • Implement a professional development plan, including self-directed study

Requirements:

  • Solid background in software engineering
  • A high level of cognitive ability. We hire smart people who can learn quickly
  • Ability to work as a team, and to be responsible to your peers
