Although there is never such thing as a “perfect” project, there are certainly characteristics that we look for when qualifying a prospective project opportunity. Listed below are some of the core characteristics that we evaluate when determining whether or not a prospective project is a good fit with AgileTek’s business model. These characteristics also help our clients evaluate which projects within their portfolio are a good match for AgileTek’s value proposition. We intentionally only accept projects that are a good fit for our model, and throughout the years have found that this scrutiny has resulted in a distinguished track record of successful projects and a legacy of repeat business from our customer base. By no means do we expect a prospective project to be an exact match to all of the criteria listed below, but we do look for a match in several of the key areas. Project - Duration: 6 months or greater
- Project based
- Core development is done on-site at AgileTek’s Chicago office
- High innovation factor (ranking of 7 or higher)
- Time to market pressure – urgency
- High return on investment (ROI)
- Complex business domain
- Contemporary or bleeding edge technologies
Commitment to Agile Approach - Understand and appreciate the benefits of agile development
- Appropriate availability - willing to invest the necessary amount of time of client stakeholder(s)
- Business proxy(s) has previous experience working in the users environment
- Ability for the project team to have face-to-face interaction with the end users, on-site in the users environment, see first-hand what they do and how they will use the software being developed for them
- Designated end-user (stakeholder)
