Tim Hughes

As Managing Partner, Tim has played a key role in the company’s strategic direction, growth and client relations.  Tim is an entrepreneur by nature and enjoys leading and growing technology related businesses.

Prior to founding AgileTek, Tim was Director of Strategic Partnerships at Geneer Corporation, a custom software engineering firm.

In addition to Tim’s software development background, Tim also possesses a unique combination of operational and international business expertise as a result of a decade of experience at Efficient Market Services, Inc. a leading information service provider for supermarkets and consumer packaged goods.  At EMS, Tim managed the company’s operations and international business units.  As a result of these responsibilities, Tim negotiated a multi-year software licensing agreement with Mitsubishi Corporation to help expand EMS’ services into South East Asia.

Tim earned his Bachelor of Business degree from Lake Forest College.  Prior to attending Lake Forest College, Tim served in the United States Marine Corps. During his tour of duty, he served in the Persian Gulf War and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for Meritorious Service.

Tim is a board member of the Chicago Product Development Management Association, and an active member of the Executives Club of Chicago.
